so long, farewell

Dear Old Blog,
You've served me well for a few months but I fear you might've... well, don't take this the wrong way.... fallen a little behind in the design department.   I know, I know.. I could've told you not to wear the mom jeans and banana hair clip but I didn't want to hurt your feelings.  You see, my new blog has cute bangs and wears skinny jeans and listens to Vampire Weekend.... so, I had to let you go.
Yours Truly,
Adam

Polangko-Kenney Saturday Night Visit

Today, Jake and I went fishing along the banks of the mighty Etowah River, because he wanted to catch a baby shark.  We never caught a baby shark but some kayakers caught his eye.  I'm not sure why he felt the need to "shoot" at them.  But this sequence of shots is going to be helpful when I show his future therapist.

Kayakers Spotted!

 Ready ...

Aim...

Fire!  (Notice it seems to actually 'kick')

"Want some more?"

 "Get outta here."

After that, the family loaded up and went to see our friends Lara, Jason, Willow and Edwin. It was a beautiful evening.  Jake and Willow played wonderful together...95% of the time.

Sneaking around Wolf Mountain Vineyards

My wife accidentally knocked a table over at the vineyards. I stop by today to repair it and afterward I snuck downstairs and snapped a few.  Its a beautiful place and they make the best wine Georgia has to offer.  www.wolfmountainvineyards.com/

Drew and Ashley's Engagement Session

Drew Coker and Ashley Hatchett have asked me to shoot their wedding on April 23 at the Old Decatur Courthouse.  In the meantime, we messed around last weekend at various spots around Atlanta.  They were really shy and nervous when I showed up, but as soon as we went out to our first spot, (the train cars,)  they started snuggling amongst the steel and iron.  It was so easy to see that they are in love.  The expressions and gestures were so genuine.  Both of them could easy make a living as models if they ever start considering a career change.

Clara and Peyton

Yesterday I did some frolicking in the fields with my friends Clara and Peyton,  The strikingly beautiful siblings.  They were good sports despite how prickly and pokey the grounds was.  Lots of sharp twigs and stalks had all bleeding and longing for ice cream to take the pain away.   This field, just a few minutes North of Dahlonega,  is supposedly hit or miss with its flower saturation.  but, being my first time visiting, I couldn't complain.  Their older sister couldn't make it, so subscribe to the blog for an email alert of when I post her.
